What do you rok to?

iRok2 offers more than a fun rhythm gaming experience. We also encourage you to define yourself through the music that means the most to you. For example, your iRok2 Profile page is a great place to discover, collect and share the songs that you rok to. You can think of the Profile page as a collection of your favorite mix tapes. Mix tapes, popular in the 80s and 90s, were personalized collections of your favorite tunes recorded onto cassette tapes for listening and sharing with others.

The iRok2 Profile page

The iRok2 Profile page is a track proving ground. You grow the Trial Tracks list by playing the Daily Track, buying tracks from the catalog, generating new tracks or receiving tracks and albums as gifts or challenges from friends. Practice them to figure out what you like best. When you find a track that reflects your sound and that you enjoy roking to, just drag it into your album for safekeeping. The Trial Tracks that aren’t practiced regularly or moved into your current album are forgotten and eventually disappear from the list.

You grow your fan base and level up as you explore and practice new trial tracks, regularly play the tracks in your album and battle with others in multiplayer competition. With each new level you unlock new slots in your current album and increase your band’s capacity to learn more tracks. Publish your album when it’s full to share it with others and unlock a new one. Albums are your mix tapes and they will provide even more ways for you to define and express yourself in the future.

So there it is: practice, play and publish your way to a music collection that is uniquely you, and then share it with those you care about. I rok to (iRok2) Linkin Park, Journey, Silversun Pickups and more. What do you rok to?

We are always looking for feedback. Got an idea that would make collecting tracks even more fun? Want to help shape the development of a really cool game? Comment below!
