iRok2 ramp up to public beta
iRok2 gets closer to a public release every day and much of our work is now focused on cleanup and polish issues. In addition to streamlining the experience for first time players we’ve been reworking the layout and functionality of our Catalog page. You’ve told us that it’s not easy to find tracks or figure out how to generate new ones. We’ve been listening. While the Daily Track still owns the top of the page, we’re now highlighting the fact that we have A LOT of tracks. We’ve added a large search box to make this function obvious and a track counter to give the catalog a feeling of change and growth. The Browse By Artist and Find More Videos functions have been relocated here as well.
Below that is a list of Featured Tracks that give new players a range of free options for evaluating iRok2’s game play. Our hope is that bringing this functionality together in one place will make it easier for everyone to understand what they can do and have a more enjoyable experience.
Is this an improvement? Does the interface make more sense? Or have we messed up a good thing? Let us know in the comments.
